| The Nevada Housing Alliance, formerly Nevada
Manufactured Housing Association, is a non-profit trade and
professional association whose member companies build, sell,
site, and finance manufactured housing and develop and operate
manufactured housing communities and developments.
The association was founded and is run by a group of dedicated
volunteer board members to advance the availability and ownership
of quality, high value homes, marketed by licensed retailers.
Nevada also promotes the purchase of manufactured housing
and the development of desirable sites and communities in
Nevada. The Association identifies continuing education opportunities
for members and works with our regulatory and legislative
officials.. Our public, legislative and consumer relations
programs are designed to benefit both the industry and the

Subject: Red Flags Rule Enforcement to Begin 12-31-10
After several delays, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
will begin enforcement of the Red Flags Rule on December 31,
2010. The attached memo provides guidance for manufactured
home land-lease communities and retailers. MHI has discussed
issues related to communities and retailers with FTC staff
and believes that the information contained in the memo reflects
how communities and retailers are impacted by the Red Flags
Rule. However, the policies developed by MHI members should
be reflective of their specific business needs and practices,
and should involve legal counsel.
Resources mentioned in the memo are available on MHI’s Web
site at: http://www.manufacturedhousing.org/lib/showtemp_detail.asp?id=374&cat=retailer
Additional information is available on the FTC Web site at:
